In this post, I’ll talk about the best copywriting tips that I learned from Jim Edwards.
So if you are struggling to get people to sign up for your email list, to buy your product, or to click on your affiliate link you’ll find this very helpful.
You’ll discover how anyone can use the power of words to get more sales and clicks no matter what you sell or to whom you’re selling.
So keep reading.
What is Copywriting
Copywriting is writing content that makes people do what you want them to do. It’s the most valuable thing you can learn.
So make sure you learn something from these copywriting tips because being good at copywriting will determine whether you’ll succeed or not.
Copywriting will cost you a lot to outsource it and it will take forever until you get your copy. And even if a copy doesn’t work you’ll still have to pay for it because you can’t know is it working or not until you run it.
The ability to create copy helps with content creation, webinars, speeches, and Facebook Live and without a great copy, you won’t succeed no matter how good is your product or your funnel.
No more talking, let’s get to tips for copywriting.
How to Become a Good Copywriter
One of the most important copywriting tips is that you have to establish a copywriting mindset and understand that nobody is born with copywriting skills, that is something you learn. And mastering copywriting is a lifetime process.
It will be easier if you learn to copywrite at stages:
Become great with headlines
Become good at writing bullets
Become good at creating calls to action and creating your offer
Like I said before, you need a copywriting mindset.
Here are 4 steps for establishing that mindset and become good at copywriting:
Focus and commit
Practice every single day
Pay attention to results, what’s working and what is not
Keep doing what works and stop doing what doesn’t work
Understanding the Audience in Your Niche
When you are writing a copy you are writing for a specific group of people. It’s important to know who they are and what is important to them. You need to understand their hopes, fears, and dreams.
Answer these questions to make this brainstorming process easier:
Who they are?
What are they thinking?
What problems they have?
What are their goals?
What is their demographic information?
Finding Your Targeted Persona
You need to create that personas avatar so you can write your copy like you are talking to that specific person.
First, you have to get the idea of your niche
Then you narrow it down in a sub-niche, which is a smaller part of a niche
You go even deeper into micro-niche, which is a narrower part of sub-niche. This is where your ideal persona is.
When you find out who, you have to find out what they want.
Every single individual from your audience has their problems, questions concerning those problems. They need your copy to get them over their roadblock and get results.
So your job is to know their problems and answer their question through your copy so they can pass the roadblock and get to results.
Writing a Great Copy
When it comes to your copy keep in mind that people don’t care about you. So look for I, me, we, ours, my, and change the perspective. Keep in mind 5 most important reasons why people will buy from you:
To make money
To save money
To save time
To avoid effort
To escape pain
You need to know their why, and then frame your message to tie your product with their why. The key is to tie multiple reasons why they might buy, not just one.
When practicing writing your copy, ask yourself these questions about your product:
What are 5 ways my product will help them to make money?
How can my product help them to save money?
How much time can I save them and what else they can do with that time?
What they don’t need to do anymore if they get my product?
What physical pain does my product solves for them?
How does my product eliminate worry for them?
The Ultimate Bullet Formula
You should use bullets to grab people’s attention and to deliver important information quickly. Good bullets don’t include features, they include benefits. Because people don’t buy features, they buy benefits.
If you don’t write good bullets you won’t be able to create curiosity you need to get people to move forward, and the ideal formula for creating bullets is:
It (blank) so you can (blank).
Always include meaning in your bullets because that will make them better.
What to Do if You Don’t Have Testimonials
You might think this is a big problem because all others have testimonials and feedbacks. Testimonials can help you to get momentum and there will be a point where they will think:
Why should they believe you?
Will this work for me?
Do I really need that?
You can hook them with your headline and quickly deliver important information through bullets but now they need to know why should they trust you. You need proof that your offer works.
There are a couple of things you can use as proof if no one has used your product yet:
Ask someone who knows you to review your product and use it as proof.
Ask people you don’t know to review your product. Most of them will say no but you only need one or two to say yes. Don’t be afraid to ask for the testimonial, it will inspire other people to trust you.
Find quotes that apply to what you’re trying to get them to do and use it to get trust and reinforce your idea.
Find statistics that support what you are saying. Google your keyword + statistics or study and then leverage statistics to get the proof for your claims.
Creating a Great Sales Copy Fast
To do this you have to build your sales copy in 11 parts. This way you won’t feel the pressure because doing 11 small steps is much easier than doing one giant step. Each step has its purpose to take the reader to the next step.
1. Headline Package
This contains your pre headline, headline, and subheadline and the purpose of a headline package is to attract attention from the right people, to identify yourself, and to let them know what to expect.
2. Shocking Statement
The purpose of a shocking statement is to stop them from doing whatever they are doing and pay complete attention to what you are saying. It can be something that goes against something they believe is true, or to expose something they suspect is true.
Use “Did you know statement” to do this. And if you did your research from the testimonial section you have already stumbled upon some information you can use in your Did you know statement.
3. Define the Problem
The purpose of this is to tell them about the exact problem they are facing. You can start with these exact words:
Here’s the problem you face.. and fill in the blanks.
4. Agitate
This is the part used to create negative feelings. You want them to think Oh no, I don’t want to be like that. You can start with:
Which means you…and fill in the blanks.
5. Present the Solution
This is where you present your product as a solution to their problem you just made worst in the previous step. You can start with:
Luckily for you, there is now a solution. Let me introduce you to…and fill in the blanks.
6. Proof
This is where you provide credibility and answer their question why should they trust you. Use studies, quotes, testimonials, statistics, or whatever you got. You can start with:
Don’t just take my word for it, take a look at this…and fill in the blanks.
7. Sum Up the Offer and Give a Price
This is where you tell them exactly what are they going to get, when they are going to get it, how they are going to get it, and sets its price.
8. Bonuses
In this section tell them about your bonuses to add more value to your offer. If you want to make your offer really stands out take your competitor’s unique selling proposition and offer it as your free bonus.
9. Guarantee
This is a section where you take away all the risk. You can simply say 30-day money-back no question ask guarantee, or you can rephrase every single benefit you mentioned before.
10. Call to Action
This can be just a buy button that takes them to check out.
11. P.S. or Post Scriptum
Here you rephrase your main benefits and reason why should they act now and give them a button to buy it.
Conclusion
That’s it.
Those were the most valuable copywriting tips I’ve learned from Jim Edwards. I hope you find it useful as I do and that it will become a game-changer for your content creation.
If you want to learn more copywriting tips from Jim Edwards, my best advice is to go and get his book.

What is a Wealthy Affiliate?
Wealthy Affiliate is an affiliate marketing training platform that educates people on how to make money blogging. They don’t use the word blogging on their website, but that’s really what they teach. It’s a technique to make money online that’s been around for a long time, and here’s how it works.
First, you choose a topic that your blog will be about. This is called a niche. This could be anything really, but the more specific your niche is, the easier it’ll be to make money because there’s less competition.
Then you set up your website and start writing posts about questions and topics that people are searching for online.
You’ll try to optimize your articles for certain keywords so that search engines will rank your articles high in search. That’s how people find your blog, and how your website will get traffic.
To make money with your website, you’ll have to include affiliate links in your posts.
What you do is you start looking for products that relate to your posts. Then you sign up for the affiliate program of these products, and you’ll get an affiliate link, that you can integrate into your posts.
You can look for affiliate products on ShareASale, CJAffiliate, or any other affiliate network.
When somebody clicks your affiliate link and buys the product, you will get a commission.
And that’s actually what Wealthy Affiliate teaches, and it’s the first way you can make money with Wealthy Affiliate, by actually going through their program, and executing what they teach.
Who is It For?

Features of Wealthy Affiliate
What Do I Think About This Affiliate Marketing Training Platform?
When I started to go through their affiliate marketing training, I was surprised and thrilled, this is actually what I’ve been looking for for a long time. A step-by-step guide on how to build an affiliate marketing business from start to finish, that also comes with a community that can answer my questions at any point in my journey.
So after the first few lessons I took, I lost all of the skepticism that I had when I first signed up for this platform, and I realized that it’s awesome. However, I still didn’t quite have an understanding of how long it would take me to make money with what they teach.
After all, the goal of anyone joining this platform is to make money, right?
So I looked at some success stories to get an idea of what is possible here, and there are quite a lot of these stories. Some of them are making over $10,000 per month with their websites, others have been able to make a decent passive income too.
What I think is important to be aware of though, is that these results took months or even years, and certainly didn’t happen overnight. So if you’re looking to get rich quick, I don’t recommend you join Wealthy Affiliate, because what they teach is how to build a long-term and sustainable online business, and that takes work and time.
Wrap Up
In my opinion, it’s one of the very few legit programs out there that teach you how to build a sustainable online business. And compared to almost every other affiliate marketing training out there, it’s completely free to start and see for yourself if this is the right thing for you.
I did go to the website, and I did sign up for a free membership to see for myself what this website is really about. And I was surprised to see that their website looks quite legit compared to other websites I saw.
There’s no video playing with some guy talking about how they can make you rich in 30 days. They say that Wealthy Affiliate is a platform for affiliate marketers of all levels. And when you browse a bit further, you get a good idea about what Wealthy Affiliate is.
What you get with Wealthy Affiliate is legitimate affiliate marketing training and a community that will keep you focused on one business that has long-term potential to make you a full-time income online. It doesn’t matter if you want to make money by creating a blog, by promoting Wealthy Affiliate, or by doing both.
What I say is just sign up for the free account, take the free training you have nothing to lose. If you think it’s crap then like I said no harm and no foul. So go ahead and get your free membership right now.
Anthony Miller is the guy who’s responsible for the invention of the robotic exoskeleton, multi-use rocket, and a hair growing helmet.
His inventions helped him to become the first man who flown to Jupiter, where Jupiterians greeted him exuberantly and even adored him divinely because of his long curly hair.
“Such lovely beings”, he reported on his return back to Earth.
He’s also been blogging successfully for over 10 years and he took an enormous amount of online courses before he was enlightened by God himself to start helping beginners to transform into successful bloggers.
In this post, I’m going to talk about the best cheap web hosting providers that are also reliable and offers fast loading speed for your pages.
Want to start your first blog but you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg to get it online?
If so, then keep reading.
I’ll show you what to look for when choosing a hosting provider, and give you my recommendations so you can get the most bang for the buck.
Should You Go With Cheap Web Hosting?
As you might know, websites are hosted on special computers called servers. A web hosting service provider is a company that gives the technologies and services needed for your blog to exist on the internet.
When buying web hosting some people just want to get the cheapest one, but going with the absolute cheapest isn’t usually the best idea, because small prices usually come with less customer support and slow load times.
An inexpensive way to have a website is to purchase shared hosting. Shared means that your website will share a server with other websites.
But there are cost-effective hosting providers out there which I recommend you to check first.
With so many blogs today most hosting providers compete on price so you can get excellent hosting for a low price.
What to Look for When Choosing a Hosting Provider?
Your ideal hosting provider should be actively controlling downtime and giving you notifications during the extraordinary circumstance when they plan any maintenance.
Most hosting providers are going to give you a 99% uptime guarantee. They can’t guarantee 100% uptime as they have to shut down the service from time to time for routine maintenance and upgrades but they should be very close to 100% uptime.
You also should look for speed because loading speed is a ranking factor and if your visitors have to wait for a page to load they might click away and be gone forever.
Look for cPanel as well. It’s just a Linux-based hosting control panel where you can manage your domain names and files. It’s not important at all, but it’s a nice-to-have feature.
And last but not least you should be looking for some strong customer support available 24/7 either on the phone, email, or live chat.
Below you can find my suggestions for reliable and cheap hosting providers.
Best Cheap Web Hosting Providers: DreamHost
DreamHost was founded in Los Angeles in 1996 and today they are hosting more than 1.5 million websites with over 400.000 customers.
DreamHost is also one of three recommended hosting providers by WordPress.
DreamHost Overview
They provide an outstanding service contradicted to their low prices. Unlimited storage and bandwidth, backups, and free SSL certificates make DreamHost one of the most generous hosts.
Also, the support is very helpful and patient.
Here’s what they have to offer:
Shared hosting
WordPress hosting
VPS hosting
Dedicated servers
Domains
Since this post is about the best cheap web hosting I’ll be pointing to the cheapest hosting plan.
All those features from above are included in their cheapest plan called Starter.
You can pay for their hosting for one month or one year. If you prefer to pay month by month without contracts then you can have it for 4.95$.
However, if you choose to pay for the whole year then the price goes down to 3.95$ per month.
DreamHost offers two packages of shared hosting, shared starter and shared unlimited. My recommendation for most people is to go with shared Unlimited because the starter includes only one website and you’d have to pay additional if you want to add email.
The Unlimited plan enables unlimited websites and email which would be useful, especially when they are offering it for the same price as a basic plan which is the case at this moment.
For the price at 3.95$, shared unlimited at Dreamhost is pretty cheap.
Get One Day of Hosting Credit for Each Hour of Service Break
If their service becomes unusable as a result of Dreamhost systems failures you will receive a DreamHost credit proportional to your current hosting costs for one day of service for each hour of a service break.
Due to their data center locations, redundant cooling emergency generators, and constant monitoring DreamHost is so confident in their uptime so they offer a 100% uptime guarantee.
You’ll Never Lose a Single Visitor Because of the Slow Loading Speed
When it comes to speed according to their website, connection speeds associated with DreamHost services represent the maximum possible speed.
They do not guarantee you will achieve the maximum connection speed at all times as this depends on a combination of conditions including your internet connection.
You can also check out some of the user reviews about DreamHost loading speed because they’re mainly positive.
Deal With Any Issues Immediately as They Happen
If you look at their support, DreamHost has support available 24 hours a day via email or live chat available from 5:30 am till 9:30 pm.
Your website can stop working during server updates, or if anything happens you want to be sure that your website is in capable hands and you want to be able to get in touch with your hosting company in your preferred way.
You also have an option to request a call back from technical support but callbacks are not included with any standard hosting package.
You can, however, add one or three callbacks per month to your account for a small monthly fee.
Get Your Money Back in 97 Days
Dreamhost is pretty cheap and if you don’t like them, they do have a refund policy. According to their website, Dreamhost offers a full refund on shared hosting if you cancel your plan within 97 days of opening the account.
Wrap Up
DreamHost uses solid-state drives on their shared hosting plans to give you improved speed and reliability.
They don’t support Cpanel. Instead, they have their easy to use DreamHost control panel to make things even easier.
If you want to try it yourself make sure you click this link below.

A2 Hosting Overview
No matter if you have a brand new blog and you’ve never run a website before, or you are a professional with a popular business site, A2 Hosting will take care of you.
Here’s what they have to offer:

Since this is about the best cheap web hosting I’ll be focusing only on the cheapest shared hosting plan.
When you install WordPress on your hosting account with 1-Click setup tool, your blog becomes completely optimized with the best speed settings.
This takes the process of installing and testing WordPress plugins to get the fastest page loads off your back. You can concentrate on building your blog, creating content, and promoting it.
Get Up to 20 Times Faster Page Loads With Turbo Server Option
If you want to have even faster page loads you might want to consider their Turbo Servers. They have up to 20 times faster page loads compared to other Web Hosting services.
What makes them so fast?
They use a speed-enhanced, drop-in Apache alternative, they host fewer users on each server and you’ll have more resources assigned to your web hosting account, and incorporate A2 optimized tool for caching.
Get Your Money Back Anytime
While most providers offer a 30-day money-back guarantee or even a 90-day money-back guarantee A2 hosting goes a step further. They are offering an anytime money-back guarantee, so you have nothing to lose here.
You still get a full refund within the first 30 days. But, you can cancel anytime and receive a refund for the remaining time you’ve prepaid.
Get Help for Any Issue Immediately
A2 Hosting delivers 24/7 support through live chat, phone, and email. They also have a huge knowledge base on their website so you can find an answer yourself or learn something new.

Wrap Up
With A2 hosting you will be able to install WordPress with just one click automatically no matter which plans you choose and that’s a very useful feature if you’re just a beginner.
You also get access to their business emails. Creating a business email is super simple you can do it through the cPanel that A2 hosting has and your business emails will use the same domain name that your website is using.
However, you do not get a free domain with any of their plans. You will need to buy that separately and I’ll suggest visiting Namecheap for that.
If you want to have the fastest possible website for the low cost then I would definitely recommend A2 hosting.
A2 hosting turbo plans operate on better hardware and they’re currently the fastest shared web hosting plans you can get anywhere.

Email marketing is an aspect of direct marketing used to promote your blog, products, or services.
If you don’t have a blog yet, make sure to read my guide on how to start a blog.
You send emails to build relationships with your subscribers by providing them relevant and useful advice that will help them to take action and go a step closer to achieve their goals.
There are plenty of solid reasons why you should start with email marketing.
Here’s a couple of them.
5 Reasons Why Every Blogger Should Build An Email List From Day One
When you are building an email list you are trying to get more people to subscribe to receive your emails. The more ways you can let visitors subscribe to your email, the bigger your email list will be.
You should know from the beginning that your email list is going to become the most important ingredient of your blogging success.
So here are the reasons why you should start with list building from the very beginning.
1. Email Will Get You In Front Of Your Readers Regularly
An email is the easiest way to share news about your blog and to keep in touch. Not everyone will check your social media accounts or blog every day.
But do you know what will they probably do every day?
That’s right, they’ll check their email.
So, if you have something significant to share, and want to be sure that it will reach your audience, then an email list is a way to go.
2. Email Will Help You to Grow Traffic
If you have a blog, every time you publish a new post, you can tell your list about it and that will help to increase your traffic.
Even if you aren’t selling any products, you should still collect emails so you can get people back to your site.
And when your list is big enough, it can become a powerful tool.
Let’s say that you have a list of 10,000 subscribers:
With a 20% open rate, you’ll have 2,000 people who will open that email and see that you write a new post.
And if just 5% of those people click to see your new post, that’s 100 people who are looking at your post in a short amount of time.
If you need help with your content then make sure to read my post about content creation.
3. Email Helps You to Make a Connection With Your Audience
Building an email list is vital because it’s the best way to build a connection with your audience in a personal way. People will subscribe to your email list because they like the things you share.
When you send them emails, they are going to be thrilled because they like you and trust you enough that they want to see more of what you have to offer.
4. Email is the Best Way to Sell a Product
If someone subscribed to your email list it is not just a casual follow as we do it on Twitter.
That is a real and engaged person.
And they might want whatever it is that you’re offering.
This is why it’s very important to look after your email subscribers. They will be your most engaged blog readers, and maybe also your most loyal customers.
5. Email is an Effective Way to Grow Your Social Media Channels
Probably your audience is not following you on all your social media accounts and email is a great way to tell them about the places where you share your content.
Make sure that you grow your social media accounts at the same time you are growing your email list. And don’t forget to invite your followers on social media to also join your email list.
When you are just starting with email marketing, you don’t have the set-up to grow your email list.
Even if that all sounds discouraging, don’t worry, because in one hour you can set up everything you need.
Key Steps When Getting Started With Email Marketing
That’s why it’s important to learn the right way to do email marketing, so you can catch up with your target audience and hold their attention.
Sign Up With an Email Service Provider
First, you will want to sign up with an email service provider.
Email service providers will help you with many things:
capture new email subscribers
create remarkable emails and newsletters
organize your subscribers
help you to segment them
provide all statistics that you need after you send an email
The email marketing tool that I recommend, especially for beginners, is HubSpot’s freeemail marketing tool. It helps you to efficiently create, personalize, and optimize marketing emails that look professional.
Once you’ve signed up for an email service provider, you can create forms, landing pages, content upgrades, and lead magnets. This will enable you to collect email addresses from your visitors.
You can start with the free tool but you’ll eventually have to pay for the email services as your email list grows, this is non-negotiable.
Here is a list of other email marketing providers worth checking out:
Aweber is free for 0 – 500 subscribers – no time restrictions.
Getresponse offers 30 days free trial to test their features.
ConvertKit now offers a free account for up to 500 subscribers and access to forms, landing pages, and broadcasts.
Constant Contact has a most generous 60 days free trial offer to test all the features.
MailChimp is the most popular free email service provider. Everything is free for up to 1000 subscribers.
MooSend is the best Mailchimp alternative that also offers a free account for up to 1500 subscribers.
Benchmark offers its services for free with limit of 250 emails/month.
Create Your Opt-in Form
An opt-in is a form of permission given by your visitors to allowing you to contact them with additional information.
Opt-in forms allow you to build your list by collecting email addresses. They can be presented as pop-up forms on the homepage or landing pages, and built-in widgets across your website.
If you took my suggestion and decided to go with HubSpot here’s how to create a form with their form builder.
To create a form, first, you should log into your HubSpot account, and click on Marketing > LeadCapture > Forms.
Now click Create form.
In the left panel, select Regular form.
Then click Next.
Select would you start with a blank form or a pre-made template.
After selecting the template click Start.
Click the pencil icon at the top of the form editor to edit the form name.
To edit and add form fields use the search bar to search for a field.
Now drag and drop fields onto the form preview on the right to add them to your form. Fields can be placed above, below, or next to other fields.
To customize your form options click the Options tab.
Now set what should happen after a visitor submits your form. You can choose to display a thank you message to your visitors or redirect them to another page.
Then you can click on the Style and preview tab to choose a theme for fields and buttons and customize the form’s width, fonts, and colors.
When you choose a theme, fonts and colors click Publish to make your form live so you can embed it on your website.
In case this looks complicated and you just want a simple form then you can also check Hello Bar and Sumo.
Hello Bar
Hello Bar is a tool that you can use to add a notification bar at the top of your WordPress blog, as well as some other pop-ups to help you engage with your visitors. These notification bars are incredibly helpful for boosting conversion, driving traffic to a particular page, or to increase affiliate sales.
Hello Bar is a decent lead generation tool and they offer a free plan. Setting it up is very easy.
Type your domain name in the homepage text box to create an account.
After creating an account, you can choose from the different types of Hello Bar. If you’re going to be using it to collect emails, you’ll want to choose show an announcement or collect email.
Then fill in the information for the bar, like color and message.
Use the Next button to continue through the 5 main steps or just click the menu tabs on the left.
When you click Save and publish, you can choose the installation option. Install the code yourself or install the Hello Bar plugin to make it easier.
Sumo
You can also collect emails with Sumo. Sumo is also easy to set up and install on your website.
Log in to your website’s WordPress Admin Dashboard.
Select Plugins > Add New. Search for Sumo and then click Install Now.
Activate Plugin to complete your install of Sumo.
Click Settings within the plugin list or on Sumo within the dashboard.
Connect to attach your account and access your Sumo tools.
Enter in your Sumo account information or create a new account.
That’s it. Now click on My Apps to access your tools.
You can use Sumo for offering content upgrades, with both a Welcome Mat and a Click Trigger.
When you use more than one offer anyone who doesn’t want to sign up right away from your Welcome Mat will have another opportunity within your content with a Click Trigger.
Create Your Content Upgrade
Now you have to create a content upgrade that will add more value to your content and convert the visitors into subscribers. Those visitors will give you their email addresses in exchange for the free content upgrade.
Content upgrades are specific and targeted. Because of that, they can improve your conversion rates while increasing your chances to make the sale.
A visitor who downloads your content upgrade is very interested in what you are talking about and it’s more likely that he will follow your affiliate link.
Open your best blog posts on your website and start to think about what can you create that will add more value to that particular piece of content.
Ask yourself what problem is the reader encountering?
What information does the cover?
When you have a few ideas, create them.
It’s not nuclear physics and it won’t take more than an hour or two per content upgrade.
Here’s a couple of content upgrades you can create easily.
Checklist
Cheatsheet
PDF article
When you know what you want to offer, and you have created it, you have to insert the content upgrade into the content and offer it to your visitors.
What I was just explaining in the previous paragraph was conversion rate optimization for your content. But you’ll want your whole website to be optimized.
So now, I’ll show you how to do site-wide conversion rate optimization.
That means you’re going to try that more of the traffic that visits your site, sign up for your email list.
You’ll do this by creating a lead magnet.
A lead magnet is practically the same as a content upgrade but it’s not so specific. You can create checklists, PDF articles, challenges, or blueprints.
You can choose to offer whatever you want but keep in mind that it has to be created for the bigger part of your target audience.
So, content upgrades are tied for the specific blog post and lead magnets for the general theme of your website.
Like I already said, if you just ask for emails you won’t do good. Instead of just asking for emails you offer something in exchange for their emails.
That’s why you need to create a site-wide opt-in offer.
It can be simple, it doesn’t matter. Just offer something and set up your email apps for it just like you did for the content upgrade.
You can increase your site conversion rate by giving your visitors more chances to subscribe.
For example, let’s say you are using Sumo, so you have the Welcome Mat and you add exit intent pop-up.
So visitors who weren’t ready to subscribe with a welcome mat gets another opportunity to subscribe when they go to leave your website.
This way you can collect emails you wouldn’t collect otherwise.
How does it sound to you?
Not bad, right?
Remember, if you distract visitors with too many things to do when they visit your page, most probably they won’t do anything at all. So, remove distractions and only keep what is necessary on your page.
So far you’ve discovered how to set up email technology, and how to set up your website and content to collect emails.
Now it’s time to write a couple of emails that you’ll send to your new subscribers through autoresponder on an automated schedule.
Writing Your First Emails
It’s best to write a couple of emails at once and save it to your autoresponder. Otherwise, you’ll have to constantly think about creating content for your emails.
For a couple of hours just focus on creating several valuable emails to keep your subscribers engaged.
Do you think you can do this?
I bet you can.
Don’t complicate just do it.
Here are a couple of email types you can send to your email list.
Types Of Emails You Can Send To Your Subscribers
You can choose some of these 10 different types of emails. Start with the Welcome Email, and go down the list until you create at least 4.
Welcome Email
A welcome email is your chance to tell your subscribers more about you, your website and how they can benefit from it. It’s very important that you start to build a connection with them immediately after subscribing.
Don’t forget to include a call to action of what you want your subscribers to do next, like following you on social media. Take advantage of the momentum while they are still very much interested in what you are offering.
Remember, they have to get this email right after subscribing.
Expectation Email
In this email, you should include when you’ll send emails, how often you’ll send them, and what you’ll send in them.
You should also include a call to action to whitelist your email address. This will tell your email service provider that your emails are not spam.
You can include this into a welcome email if you want or send it separately a day after your welcome email.
Resources Email
This email should include a list of free and paid tools that you are using (make sure you include your affiliate links) to help your audience getting results they want.
Send it at the beginning of the sequence while they are still engaged.
Inquiring Email
With this email, you are inviting them to tell you about their challenges around your topic. In the end, let them know that you are going to read every response you get.
This can help to achieve maximum engagement from your subscribers, plus they will tell you exactly what to write about in your future emails to please them.
Asking your audience about issues they’re experiencing will help you with a content creation and give you insight into exactly what your audience wants. You can use their exact words for your sales copy, content, and emails.
Send it within the first couple of weeks.
Informative Email
In this email, you’re asking them to respond to you with information about themselves. You want to know as much as you can about your subscribers.
The more information you get from them, the more targeted your marketing can be, and you can achieve more sales.
It should be different from inquiring email, don’t ask for their issues with your topic. Ask them about their lives and experience with your topic in general.
Send this one within the first two or three weeks.
Free Gift Email
Every once in a while, send your subscribers a free gift. It can be a worksheet, a video, or a tool to help them.
You have to surprise them from time to time and remind them that subscribing to your list was a good choice they made.
Send it often if you can.
Exclusive Content Email
Sending out emails with exclusive content to your subscribers is a great way to reward them for being on your list. And it helps build loyalty.
You don’t have to complicate here, you can give them exclusive content in a shorter form, like a couple of quick tips. Just give them something that can not be found on your website.
Send them maybe once a month. The more exclusive and valuable content you give to your subscribers they’ll be more interested in what you have to say.
Content Email
Content teasers are an incredible way to get your subscribers back to your website because they can excite them about a post you’ve published.
So every time you publish new content send a content email to notify subscribers about it.
There is actually the other, simpler way to do similar things. It’s called RSS to email.
I prefer content teasers because that way people will come back to your website and with RSS to email, you automatically send the whole post into subscribers’ inboxes so they don’t need to visit your site.
Recommendation Email
In this email, you share other people’s content so you don’t have to create it on your own. For example, you can tell them about 10 articles you enjoyed so they can read it too.
You can send them regularly or anytime you need a break.
Newsletter Email
Newsletters are regular updates about your site. Send them when you have updates to share with your subscribers.
Best of all, after creating these 10, you can repeat 8 of them for continual follow-up sequence.
📈 GetResponse Take a Tour | Marketing Automation, Landing Pages, Webinars, Email Marketing
If you have no idea how to schedule your emails here’s a quick guide.
You should send the first emails faster, as you are getting your new subscriber introduced to you.
Then, you need to back off for a couple of days.
You don’t have to follow that exact format, but don’t email every day. If you send too often that can increase your email unsubscribe rates.
While most of those email marketing and retargeting options can be scheduled easily there is one question that marketers keep asking.
When is the best time to send an email?
Best Time To Send Emails According To Data From Researches
According to these researches, you can try to send emails in this order:
Tuesday: The best day to send emails according to the data from this researches.
Thursday: If you send two emails a week, send 2nd email on Thursday.
Wednesday: Researches showed that Wednesday wasn’t the most popular, but it came in second place many times.
When it comes to the time of the day many of the researches shown differing results, here is when you can try to send your emails based on data:
10 a.m.-11 a.m. Late-morning times were the most popular in general, many types of research determined that this is the best time to send emails.
8 p.m.-midnight They found out that emails normally get more opens and clicks later in the evening. Do you check your emails before going to bed?
2 p.m. Try to send your emails later in the day as people are looking for distractions from work.
6 a.m. Lots of us begin our day by checking emails and notifications while we are still in bed. You can try to send it at this time but I believe that we are not ready for marketing so early in the morning.
After collecting the results of many types of research, it’s very clear that there is no one universal best time for everyone.
For further information from researches about the best time to send an email I suggest that you read these articles:
We are all creatures of habit that subconsciously want consistency. So send your emails on the same day every month, week, or day.
By being consistent, you build trust and expectation as your audience expects your content at a designated time.
Email Marketing Segmentation
Email marketing segmentation is dividing your email subscribers into smaller lists based on different criteria.
With segmentation, you have the ability to send only the most relevant information to your email subscribers, based on their particular interests.
I guess you realize that not everybody will be interested in everything you write about, so every website has different categories (or segments) of the audience.
Let’s say for example that you have a fitness blog.
Some of your readers might want to lose weight and others want to gain muscles. Those are some segments of that audience.
Your audience has segments, too.
Think of the larger categories that could fit your audience.
When you’ve recognized these categories, set up segments related to those categories in your email service provider.
Surveys and quizzes work wonders when it comes to segmentation.
After you do this, you can connect the content upgrades you created to different segments.
Segmentation is huge.
Believe me, once your list grows you’ll be glad that you do segmentation and have an organized email list because, without email marketing segmentation, it’s difficult to connect with your subscribers and boost your conversion rate.
Segmentation and Triggers in Email Marketing — How to Start an Email List #6
At this point, we set everything up and now you can continue with the creation of content and content upgrades and wait a couple of months before you start getting some significant amount of traffic from Google.
Or you can try some of the most effective, fast list-building techniques available to start to grow your list quickly and to see the power of email marketing.
Give Something Away
Giveaways are one of the best strategies to drive visitors to your site and to grow your email list.
You have to select something valuable to give away to your audience. Something that is specific to them and what they will want to have.
Then promote the giveaway on giveaway submission sites, social media, and on your website and make it necessary to sign up for your email list to enter the giveaway.
You can use the RafflePress plugin for WordPress to get your visitor’s attention with giveaways. They’ll have to enter their email address to participate and they can share it to get additional entries.
Cornerstone articles are long, informational articles, integrating knowledge from different blog posts and covering everything important about a specific topic. They should provide the best and most complete information, so don’t use them to sell products.
Cornerstone content is viral quality, in that it’s so good that your readers can’t help but share it. That’s why it needs to be detailed. If you just scratch your topic, nobody is going to share it.
All your other posts about related topics should link back to cornerstone article. This internal linking structure will increase the chance of your cornerstone content articles ranking in Google searches.
After you’ve created the content, you should also create a content upgrade.
Cornerstone content with a content upgrade can be your most valuable list building tool.
The difference between cornerstone content and guest post is instead of writing an amazing piece of content for your own site, you write it for your competition.
You are looking for blogs that have content related to your niche and engaged audience that is also interested in your niche.
By engaged I mean that posts have been shared and commented on.
Like for your cornerstone content, you should also create a content upgrade that the audience can’t resist, and link to it in your bio if the host site allows that.
Guest posting is a great strategy not only to grow your email list to do email marketing but also to connect with other blog owners, build backlinks, and social proof.
Email marketing is the best long-term investment with a high return and one of the largest mistakes you can make is not to build an email list from start.
Email lists can have a big influence on traffic and your opportunities for success with your online business.
Let’s summarize:
Get an email service provider
Create content upgrades, lead magnets, and landing pages
Write at least 4 emails and add them to the autoresponder
Don’t forget about segmentation
Use giveaways, cornerstone content with content upgrades, and guest posting to rapidly grow your email list and get your email marketing onto a higher level
That’s it.
I hope you have more knowledge about email marketing and now it’s up to you how you’re going to use it.
Have you started with email marketing yet? What do you think about this guide?
Anthony Miller is the guy who’s responsible for the invention of the robotic exoskeleton, multi-use rocket, and a hair growing helmet.
His inventions helped him to become the first man who flown to Jupiter, where Jupiterians greeted him exuberantly and even adored him divinely because of his long curly hair.
“Such lovely beings”, he reported on his return back to Earth.
He’s also been blogging successfully for over 10 years and he took an enormous amount of online courses before he was enlightened by God himself to start helping beginners to transform into successful bloggers.
Why Content Creation Plays Important Role in Your Blog’s Success
You probably heard the phrase content is a king for about a million times. Content helps you to connect with your audience, build trust, and it’s the core of everything you are planning to do with your blog.
It also helps to educate your audience, to have more online visibility, and to drive traffic to your blog. Be sure that without great content, it’s impossible to attract any attention to your blog.
The First Step of Successful Content Creation
The first step of every successful content creation is creating a content plan. With a content plan, you are deciding what’ll you do and when you’ll do it.
Should I say that you also have to stick to that plan?
You might be wondering what are the benefits of content planning.
Well, you won’t get stuck staring at the blank screen and wondering what to write about.
There are two steps of content planning:
Creating a list of content ideas
Adding the ideas into an editorial calendar
You can get lots of content ideas by researching on Google, Quora, YouTube, Amazon, Answer the Public, and BuzzSumo.
One important thing that I suggest is to create content both for your audience as well as the content for other bloggers. I’ve explained this in my Start a Blog Guide so make sure to read it.
When you have enough ideas (around 30 or more) it’s time to add them to your editorial calendar. Inside the calendar, you should add titles, keywords, publishing dates, and link to the published post so you have everything organized in one place.
Structure of Your Content
When you have a topic and title for your blog post, you should create and structure content.
If you want to do it right you should start with a structure for your post that readers understand, like the List Formula. Begin with an intro, then list the primary facts of the article, and sum it all up with a conclusion.
The How-To Formula is another easy format for structuring your posts. It starts with an introduction, then a section on why this is important to the reader and then you provide elements on how to do something in a list format.
It’s easier to start with the main points and leave the introduction and conclusion for the end. The intro has to be attractive because if you lose the reader in the first few paragraphs they’ll stop reading and leave your site.
The best is to define the objective of the post and explain how it will deal with a problem that the reader has. This will give them a reason to keep reading.
Now when we are done with the introduction to content creation it’s time to roll up our sleeves and start with tips that will help you to create awesome content every time.
10 Ways to Boost Your Content so You Can Stand Out From the Crowd
Creating content is easy. But creating great content is something that takes time and lots of effort.
If you are publishing posts just to fill your blog then stop. That will get you nowhere.
What you should do instead?
Create only quality content for your blog and follow these tips to make it even better.
Make Your Content Easy to Read By Using Right Size of the Font
You can have the best content on the web but if it’s hard to read you’ll lose readers. That’s why your font should be at least 15pX.
Boost CTR By Using Parentheses and Numbers in Your Title
Numbers aren’t just for list posts like “The 25 Best Diet Tips to Lose Weight and Improve Health”.
You can use numbers to show a specific result your readers can get from reading your content and implementing that newfound knowledge.
Here’s the example: “How to Make $1000 a Month Online From Scratch”.
Using parentheses might not seem doable for every title, but you can always add them at the end of your title like in this example:
” How to Make Money Blogging (Free Guide for 2020)”.
Hook Your Readers With Short Introduction
Your introduction has only one purpose. To get people to read the rest of your content.
But how to write a good introduction?
By keeping it up to 8 lines or less and using very short sentences in the first couple of lines.
Get Readers Attention By Using Beneficial Subheaders Every 200 Words
Subheaders are a great way to soften the content and to show people what is your content about.
Researchers found out that most of your visitors won’t read your content from word to word. They’ll be scanning through your content looking for something that will stop them and make them read.
And that is the job of your subheaders, to make them stop scanning and to pay attention.
Improve the Users Experience By Using Short Paragraphs
Research on how users read on the web found out that 79% of readers always scan the page and only 16% read word to word.
Short paragraphs make your content easier to scan, read, and digest.
Improve Your Content By Using Lots of Visuals
Do I have to say that content with visuals kicks ass of content with just text?
Anything works. You can use screenshots, charts, visualizations, or diagrams.
Studies have found that visuals increase content credibility by 75%.
Make It Personal By Using Lots of Personal Pronouns
Here’s the truth.
People adore reading about themselves and when you use the word “you” in your content it makes a difference in how they’ll respond to it.
Motivate Your Readers to Keep Reading By Using Bucket Brigades
Bucket brigades are phrases mostly used by copywriters to make people keep on reading. They can also help you to emotionally connect with your readers.
Those are phrases like:
Best of all
Here’s why
Turns out
By the way
On the other hand
What does this mean to you
Just add them in your post where it makes sense.
Make Your Content More Credible By Citing Data, Studies, or Facts
When you are including particular data or a result always cite an industry study so your content stands out. This also allows you to add graphs and charts to your content.
The bottom line is:
Always have something to back up what you are saying.
Motivate Readers to Comment and Share Your Content By Including CTA in Your Conclusion
All you have to do is ask.
When a reader comes to the end of your post letting them know what to do next will boost comments on your blog or even shares.
So instead of writing something like “I hope you learned something” get them to comment or share your post.
That’s it.
As an addition, here’s an infographic I made for one of my older blogs about content creation.
Now when you know how to create great content it’s time to optimize it for keyword and user experience.
How to Optimize Your Content for Better Rankings
If you are thinking that this will be only about basic old fashioned optimization like adding the keyword in the title, you are dead wrong.
Sure I’m going to write about that too because it still works. But I’ll also show you how to optimize your content for RankBrain.
I’ll explain what is RankBrain and I’ll show you how to take advantage of it to get higher rankings.
Let’s go.
What is RankBrain
RankBrain is an AI algorithm that Google uses to better understand users’ satisfaction with search results. It analyzes User Experience Signals and uses that data to rank results on the first page.
12 Ways to Optimize Your Content for RankBrain
By following the first 10 tips you’ll already do some optimization and here’s the rest of it.
Have a Short Url That Includes Your Targeted Keyword
Your URL is the most important part of page SEO and if your title doesn’t include your targeted keyword it’s going to be hard to rank for that term.
Did you know that the URL doesn’t have to match the title of the blog exactly?
You can shorten the URL without losing the context of that page. That way, you can update the content over time without updating the URL.
If you go through Google’s webmaster guideline you’ll see that they recommend using words that illustrate your content in your URL, and to keep it short.
Have a keyword in the title as close as possible to the beginning
Google adds more value to keywords found at the beginning of the title.
The bottom line:
When it makes sense, put your keyword at the beginning of the title.
Have at Least One Power Word in Your Title
Power words are words well-known for stimulating action.
These words induce sentiment and having them in your title almost guarantees some clicks to your blog posts.
Great headlines have one power word in them at least.
Have a Strong Emotional Feeling in Your Title
Emotional words or phrases incite emotions and feelings. Emotional words are powerful and make people take action.
When you use emotional words such as easy, simple, and more in your headlines, you can boost clicks on your article.
Have a Keyword in the First 100 Words
This is to ensure that Google will understand what your content is about. By putting your keyword at five strategic spots in your content you are telling Google what is the topic of your content.
I already mentioned the first strategic spot for keywords, which is your title and this is the second spot.
And the last three spots?
Here they are.
Have a Keyword in Your H2 Subheader
Just like with titles, Google gives more value to keywords found in subheadings as well.
Have a Keyword in the First Image’s Alt Text
Google doesn’t just scan your text to determine the topic, they also look at the images. Search engines can’t see images the same way humans can, and the image’s alt text tells them what an image is about.
So make sure to have your keyword in the first image’s alt text at least.
Have a Keyword in the Last 150 Words
This is done for the same reason why you should have your keyword in the first 100 words. To show the topic of your content.
Make Your Content Around 1500 Words Minimum
Studies found that the average word count of content on the first page is 1447 words. Is there anything else to say?
Have at Least 5 Images in Your Content
Images drive more engagement from your visitors. More engagement also means that they will stay on your blog longer. If they stay longer your rankings go up.
Have LSI Keywords in Your Content
LSI keywords are words and phrases closely related to your target keyword. They also help Google to determine the topic of your content.
Use LSIgraph to find them and scatter them in your content.
Have a Keyword in the Meta Description
Your meta description is important because it gives search engines and readers information about your blog post’s content. The maximum length of a meta description should be around 150–160 characters and it should include the keyword for which you’re trying to optimize.
Conclusion
That’s it.
Now you have a blueprint for content creation that will get you higher rankings and more traffic, and you know how to optimize that content.
Now it’s up to you.
What do you think about my content creation guide? Is there something important that I missed? Are you going to take action on what you just learned?

Affiliate marketing: The art of doing a merchants marketing better than they can, and profiting from it.
Chris Sanderson
Affiliate marketing is done by promoting other people’s or company’s products and earning a commission if someone buys that product through your links.
Affiliate marketing is divided into 4 parties.
MERCHANT or vendor is the party responsible for product creation and selling. This can be anyone, from a large company that produces physical products to an individual who sells online courses or eBooks. The merchants just need to have a product to sell, they don’t have to be involved in any other part of the affiliate marketing equation.
AFFILIATE NETWORK is involved as a middleman between merchants and affiliates. In some cases, Some merchants have their affiliate program only on the affiliate network so you won’t be able to promote their product if you aren’t a part of the affiliate network.
THE AFFILIATE or publisher is the person who joined an affiliate program to promote the merchant’s products.
When you join an affiliate program, you’ll get a unique affiliate link that tags all the traffic you deliver to the seller’s website using cookies. When somebody clicks on your affiliate link and makes a purchase, you get a commission.
Even if they don’t purchase immediately after clicking your affiliate link, you are still assigned for the sale as long as it was made within the cookie duration.
The cookie duration relates to how long their activity is tracked after clicking your affiliate link.
Can You Make Money With Affiliate Marketing
Of course, you can. You can earn a decent amount of extra cash for your family or for yourself to buy something you want.
But this won’t come overnight and without any work from your side.
Some affiliates are making hundreds per month. Some make thousands. And some make hundreds of thousands. But most affiliates aren’t making a dime.
Why?
Because they don’t do their part of the job correctly and consistently. Don’t be like those guys.
There’s a lot of people out there that get discouraged and I’ve been that person myself.
If you’re getting into any affiliate program with the mentality of getting rich quickly you have the wrong mindset.
You have to change your mindset and realize that, when it comes to business the amount of time that it’s going to take for you to make money is dependent on you. It’s dependent on you and if you’re willing to educate yourself.
I’ve seen a lot of people failing to learn how everything works. They get disappointed because they’ve been in for seven days and they haven’t earned any money and then they start calling things scam and they want their five dollars back.
They weren’t even dedicated for the seven days that they’ve been in and they just quit and then they join something else a couple of weeks later.
Be consistent.
If you are always looking for the next best thing I’ll tell you there’s no next best thing.
If you want to make money with affiliate marketing learn the actual skills and follow that process. This is going to cost mostly your time, some of your money, and lots of energy.
Affiliate marketing is a business, it’s not a hobby, it’s not a lottery and if you think that it is then you’re in the wrong business.
People don’t just hit a million dollars overnight, I hope you understand that. When you learn to attract people to your website you can promote anything and you can build a massive business and income.

Some Of The Best Affiliate Networks
With more and more businesses getting involved in affiliate marketing, more opportunities become available for guys like you and me to make money with our websites.
ClickBank
They are focused on digital products created by entrepreneurs. So actually through ClickBank, you will be marketing products from individuals like you and not products from large companies.
Some products suck, so you have to choose wisely which product to promote. Gravity is the number that ClickBank uses to show how well is each product selling. Products with a gravity of over 20 might be worth your efforts.
ShareASale
ShareASale has 39 different categories with over 3900 merchants. Many of those merchants are large brands like Reebok, for example. No matter what is your website about I’m sure here you will find a matching affiliate program to join.
CJ Affiliate
Like ShareASale, they also have a wide selection of offers including pay-per-lead and pay-per-call offers. Their merchants are mostly large established companies like Nike, Booking, Gucci, and Lacoste. It is worth checking them out.
Amazon Associates
This program gives a unique chance for affiliates to promote any product from their enormous base of products for sale. But you should know they are paying the lowest commissions.
Now you know more about affiliate marketing and it’s time to see how to do it properly.
It’s awesome to see how easy it is to start a blog these days, but this statistic also shows that many bloggers can’t manage to keep their blogs up and running for very long. That is because they get stuck in learning and implementing things that aren’t important for their level.
There are many blogging gurus out there that share tips on how to start a successful blog and none of them will tell you that you should only do actions appropriate for your level, and people like you will follow their advice maybe for a year, and then when they don’t see any progress they eventually give up.
Don’t be one of them.
Make sure to at least give it a try and follow these tips on how to start a successful blog and you could have your awesome blog up and running in a short time.
There are 4 levels of blogging and each level has its main point. I call this a Blogging Pyramid.
I don’t advise you to skip any level if you want to be a successful blogger, so follow these blogging tips with having that on your mind.
4th level- Beginner. When you are a beginner your focus is to get knowledge. Only after you get the knowledge you can move up to the next level and become a professional.
3rd level- Professional. On this level, your focus is to get results. And again, only after you get results you can move up to the next level and become an expert.
2nd level- Expert. Your focus here is to get recognized. After you get recognized you move up to the last level and become a brand.
1st level- Brand. When you become a brand your focus is to get scale.
After lots of errors during my 10 years of blogging experience, I came up with the framework that will keep you on an adequate level and make sure that you do only things that matter so you’ll have a better chance to find success.
I call it the FIRE Framework. Those are the tips on how to start a blog in a particular order and doing everything within your blogging level.
How to Start a Successful Blog: FIRE Framework
By following this framework and these blogging tips you’ll know exactly what you need to do at certain points and you will minimize the risk of getting stuck and not getting any results.
Let me explain a bit more about what is this all about.
F is forfocus.
This is actually about your mindset. The first and one of the most important elements of successful blogging is having the right mindset. With the right mindset, you can do what you think is impossible.
I is for investigation.
This is about brainstorming on which platform will your blog live, what will you write about (a niche of your blog), for whom you’ll be writing (your target audience), and what are your goals (what do you want to accomplish in the next year or two).
Ris for research.
This is about looking for your domain name, doing keyword research and creating a master keyword list, and creating your content plan. Strong research skills are a valuable blogging asset.
E is for execution.
This is the fun part. It’s about getting out there and do things. It’s time to purchase hosting, to get your domain name, to install WordPress and set everything up, to create the most important pages of your blog, start with content creation, collect email addresses, monetize your blog and promote it on social media.
Sounds like a lot of work?
It is hard work and time-consuming as well. You have to stay focused on your goals and approach this like it’s your real job. Commit two or three hours five days a week and stick to it.
Here’s a breakdown of my FIRE Framework:
How to Start a Successful Blog Using the FIRE Framework
This blogging framework will keep you on an adequate level and make sure that you do only things that matter so you’ll have a better chance to find success.
Setting the Right Mindset
Mindset plays an important role in your success in any field. Confidence Is your strongest tool, and without the right mindset, it will be hard to achieve your goals.
Setting the Foundations
Building a successful blog is a series of steps and one of the first things to do is to choose a blogging platform, niche, domain name, and hosting.
Researching and Brainstorming
Another important piece of success is focusing on setting your goals, figuring out who is your target audience, creating your content plan, and finding the best keywords to target within your content.
Installing and Customizing Your Blog
Finally, it’s time to create your blog, make it your own, and prepare it for Google Index.
Creating Your Content
When your blog is installed it’s time to start filling it with awesome content that will bring traffic and backlinks if you do it right.
Promoting Your Content
When you are just starting you are invisible and no one knows that your blog exists. Unless you promote it.
Building an Email List
Having a list of email subscribers allows you to constantly communicate with the same people, over and over again. You’ll be able to ask them what they need, send them to your blog, and send them to an offer that’ll make you money.
Monetizing Your Blog
Among many ways to monetize your blog, affiliate marketing is the best choice for beginner bloggers to make money online.
Result
Following this framework will improve your chances to grow and to become known in your space, without wasting time doing things that don’t matter for the stage you’re in.
